Interface models automatically deleted in Spectrum
Release: Any
Component:
The interface becoming Stale. An interface model is considered stale when there is no corresponding entry in the MIB from where it is modeled. An example of this is when a board is removed from a device. Normally, the resulting reconfiguration would remove the interface model. With the stale interface functionality enabled SPECTRUM will wait for the stale interface to “age out” before removing the model. The interface ages out after a period of time defined by PortAgeOutTime/0x000129db (in minutes) on the device model. This is useful to customers who wish to avoid losing model-specific attributes or connections resolved to the interface model.
Disable the automatic reconfiguration of the device by setting the "Automatically Reconfigure Interfaces" to "No" parameter in the Reconfiguration subview.
However, if an interface does become stale, the next time the model is reconfigured for any reason, it will still be automatically deleted.
You can also increase the value of the PortAgeOutTime/0x000129db attribute on the model.
