Issue/Introduction

Are there PTFs which can be applied to Easytrieve Plus Report Generator 6.4 0202 to bring it to the level of  Easytrieve Plus Report Generator release 6.4 0311?

Resolution

Installing Easytrieve Product Package 640311ESA03.ESD needs a complete new installation in order to go to the 6.4 0311 (SP01) level.

Please consider upgrading instead to Easytrieve Report Generator release 11.6 and run in compatibility mode.  This is the same as running under the Easytrieve Plus Report Generator for release 6.4 0311 and will enable you to be at the latest release.

 

 

 

Additional Information

Easytrieve Plus Report Generator release 6.4 0311 introduces 31-bit processing support, allowing  Easytrieve to run above the line.  There is no need to recompile existing programs to take advantage of this new feature.  At runtime, Easytrieve will take the default and get the needed storage from below the line.
