Is there a guide or steps to convert Datacom for Disk Files Database?
1. Install Datacom/AD using the Pax-Enhanced ESD and apply maintenance and HOLDDATA required.
2. Starting Datacom/AD, see the following section in the Broadcom Tech Docs.
a) Fill out the Installation Worksheet according to your site standards.
b) Run AXCUS00 in CAAXSAMP to create the INSTJCL PDS.
The members you will run are those in this PDS.
NOTE: You can use $DCAXEDT to make the JCL changes for your site for all these members.
c) Run the AXRIM01 to install the PC Calls.
d) Run the AXAPFADD to dynamically add libraries to be APF listed.
e) Run the AXCUSNEW and AXNEW01 to build a CA Datacom/AD environment.
f) Run AD15STRT to start the Multi-User Facility.
g) Run AXIVP01 to run the verification job.
3. Migrating/Porting Phase for Non-SQL Created Databases.
Use this section to migrate the DISK database from Datacom/AD to your target MUF.
See the following url in docops.ca.com:
a) Retrieve AXPOR01 from INSTJCL, make the required changes based on the instructions in the flower-box, and submit the JCL.
This job migrates your Disk source MUF to the target MUF.
Notice that you will have to run this job for each Disk FILES database and associated DBID. So will do a global change for the DBID number except into the Step DDRTVBAS where this line should stay unchanged.
4. Ensure that your DMS PROC contains the correct Datacom load and cus libraries.
