EXPC078E JOBNAME name WAS NOT FOUND

Issue/Introduction

Just created a new CICS.  Bounced the EXPC master partition and got this message: 

EXPC078E JOBNAME cicsname WAS NOT FOUND IN THE MONITOR INITIALIZATION

EXPC255E INITIALIZATION HAS TERMINATED DUE TO ERROR. RC = 14      

The CICS jobname was added to $MIT 

 

Resolution

Force the MIT to reload;

1. Add MIT-FORCE=YES to $CNFIG for the master.                               

2. Stop EXPC in all CICS, restart master, remove MIT-FORCE=YES from $CNFIG.

3. Restart CICS                                                              

An IPL will also force a reload of $MIT
