CCC is not showing memory information for physical servers

Issue/Introduction

When importing data into Datamanager using a UIM datasource for physical servers which pulls data from UIM cdm probe ,  CCC is not showing memory information for these servers

Environment

Capacity data manager with Capacity Command Center

Cause

The CDM probe in UIM needs to provide the memory information in MB otherwise the Data manager data source can not calculate the needed

metrics..

 

 

Resolution

There are two options in the CDM probe provide memory usage in % or MB . 

The Data manager data source is calculating this from the memory metric in MB. which needs to be enabled in the UIM cdm probe .

Enable The following QOS message in the cdm configuration tool

Memory in %

Physical Memory usage 

Physical Memory in %
