Issue/Introduction

Stopping Policy Server, I see these messages telling that automatically
a kill command is sent to the Policy Server to remove it from memory :

SiteMinder Policy Server is stopping.....................
There was a problem stopping the Policy Server
Using SIGKILL to stop the Policy Server
The SiteMinder Executive is not running. All SiteMinder processes have been stopped.

Environment

Policy Server 12.52SP1CR01 on SunOS 5.11 sparc;

Cause

This is a known issue in which the Policy Server keeps trying
to make connection with Backend Servers (LDAP or ODBC) during the shutdown, and this
blocks the shutdown process.

Resolution

Upgrade the Policy Server to 12.52SP1CR06 to benefit the fix related
to that problem :
