When creating CSE Reports from any CSE Client, the result is an empty notepad. The message flow is as follows.
Cannot find the C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\Gen86\Client\MDLSTATS.RPT file.
Do you want to create a new file?
If you click Yes, the resulting Notepad window is blank.
The default Directory is C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\Gen86\Client and the default File Name is MDLSTATS.RPT.
Modify the CSE Client Icon properties for "Start in" to be %userprofile% and the error is resolved.
This will get around the Windows UAC User Access Control protection of C:\Program Files (x86) by writing to a location in which the user has access.
