The following error is seen when trying to add a new user in Spectrum:
SPC-OCC-10929: Error associating user (username> with license(s).
The home landscape <landscape> is not in the location server map for landscape <landscape>
Release: Any
Component:
The user’s home model is pointing to a landscape that OneClick is unable to contact at the time of the error.
First check to see what landscapes are listed as the Spectrum Admin user’s master and home model handle and hostname:
If the model handle is “0x0” and there is no hostname seen, then the landscape map may not be set up properly. Check Host Security in Spectrum Control Panel and verify the proper hostnames are listed. For more information, see the Spectrum Administration Guide for configuring Host Security, Location Server, and Landscape Map.
Note: It is not recommended to use the hostname “localhost” to configure the Main Location Server hostname, even if only one SpectroSERVER is being utilized. This may cause issues for Spectrum landscape communication.
If a model handle and landscape is listed, check on OneClick Administration web page for landscape communication:
If you do not see all the proper landscapes, verify the missing landscape(s) are up and running.
If they are verified to be up and running, then verify the Host Security settings are configured properly. Check Host Security in Spectrum Control Panel. For more information, see the Spectrum Administration Guide for configuring Host Security, Location Server, and Landscape Map.
