Issue/Introduction

There is a Started Task (STC) with a RACF requirement to add the TRUSTED(YES) statement to its ID.

 

What does TRUSTED(YES) mean in the statements and what is its equivalent to ACF2?

Release: ACF2 16.0

Resolution

TRUSTED(YES) in RACF terms means full access to all resources on the system  The ACF2 equivalent is the privilege NON-CNCL.

The following command should be issued to add NON-CNCL to a Logon ID:

CHANGE logonid NON-CNCL
