Introduction:
The client is planning for a Z/OS 2.2 upgrade. How can the client check to see fix QO91208 is applied to his current CA DADS Plus for CICS SMP/E environment?
Instructions:
The client can run the batch SMP/E report to see what fixes are applied to the current CA DADS Plus for CICS SMP/E environment. The JCL is shipped with the base product and is located HLQ. SAMPJCL(OS40LIST).
Or the client can use the SMP/E ISPF interface that is used to administrate the contents of the CSI.
You need to use the SMP/E interface and do a cross zone query on your CSI as outlined below.

Specify the name of the CSI that contains the global zone:
SMPCSI DATA SET ===> 'DADSPL40.SMPCSI.CSI'
(Leave blank for a list of SMPCSI data set names.)
Take option 3 from the Menu ABOVE 3 QUERY - Display SMPCSI information
Next Take option 2 CROSS-ZONE QUERY - Display status of an entry in all Zones
Next enter the entry type and entry name and press enter
Entry Type: SYSMOD
Entry Name: QO91208
Next select the CAITGT

You will see QO91208 is SUP put an s next to it and press enter and you will see it is SUP by RO10396.
