Other Work instances and Timesheets: unable to add them

Issue/Introduction

When you (as a resource) are added to an Other Work instance (or any other Non-Project Investment Object (NPIO) such as Idea) using XOG, you cannot locate the other work items to add to their timesheet. 

Cause

When adding a staff member to the Other Work instance via the UI, an effort task is created and the staff member gets automatically assigned to that task. This task is hidden in the UI.

This allows you to then add the Other Work instance to your timesheet.  

However, when xogging in staff members, the effort task is not created automatically. 

Resolution

The effort task will need to be added to the xog file manually.

Any existing staff member will need to be assigned to this newly created effort task in the xog XML as well. Once the effort task and the assignment both are created, the Other Work will be available to you on the timesheet.
