Issue/Introduction

Question:

How does the Facility OPENMVS show up in last used statistics when it has never been given to any users.  

Example:

LAST USED = 09/07/16 07:17 CPU(SYST) FAC(OPENMVS ) COUNT(00001)

Resolution

TSS is designed to use the OPENMVS facility for work running under a BPXAS initiator.  SSHD and SSHDAEM run under the BPXAS initiator, so that is why you are using OPENMVS.  If you want a different facility used for these, you can add a MASTFAC(fac) of the facility you want used to the region acid for these started tasks. 

Do not have to add FAC(OPEMVS) to any users.  The authority for FAC(OPENMVS) is automatically given to all users.
