How to force a NEW COPY of all programs?

Issue/Introduction

Question:

Our CV's are up 24x7, and at night we need to do a dcmt vary new copy of all program load modules.

 

Answer:

The DCMT VARY LOADLIB OFF/ON statement will cause the NEW COPY flag to be set for all programs loaded from that loadlib when it is varied back ON.

 

When a loadlib is varied online, all the PDEs in its chain are flagged for NEW COPY.
