Issue/Introduction

After creating a new userid for XPJOBs for our CA 7 environment, when the job is demanded in to run, it immediately get error:

R-NOUID

USERID UNAVAILABLE FOR SUBMISSION.

Environment

CA 7 and Autosys or UUJMA.

Cause

The reason for the R-NOUID status is because the userid assigned to the CA 7 started task need submit authority on behalf of the new userid that was defined.

CA 7 is attempting to submit a job to the remote node using the new userid and a security check is made to see if CA 7 has authority to submit the job with this userid.

Resolution

Have your security administrator define a submit rule for the CA 7 started task id on behalf of the new userid.
