vCenter 8.x
vCenter 8.0.3k to 9.1.1 upgrade requirements precheck fails registering migration connector with Lookup Service. Because the source vCenter Domain is vsphere2.local (different than default vsphere.local)
1. Confirm the SSO Domain of the vCenter by running below commands:
/usr/lib/vmware-vmafd/bin/vmafd-cli get-domain-name2. Compare with the existing Lookup Service Owner IDs for the vCenter services by following the KB 322196
3. If the SSO Domain name does not match between step 1 and 2, repoint the vCenter to vsphere.local or any other SSO Domain name using the following Tech Doc
Note: Ensure valid backup of vCenter is taken before proceeding with Domain repoint.
4. If it fails at vmodl.fault.SecurityError, verify the Administrator privileges with KB 345445
