Converting Enterprise Cobol libraries from PDS to PDSE

Issue/Introduction

Migration to Enterprise Cobol requires conversion of PDS Load Libraries to PDSE Load Libraries.
Does Endevor have any utilities that can be used ? 

Environment

Release:  All Supported Releases of Endevor

 

Cause

From Enterprise Cobol Version 5, any program Objects must reside in PDSE. 

If using PDS load libraries, it is required to convert COBOL libraries to PDSE before upgrading to Enterprise Cobol.

Resolution

Endevor requires that the utility BSTXCOPY is used to copy from PDS to PDSE, this ensure that Endevor Footprints do not get corrupted.
