Issue/Introduction

Question:

Why does it seem like there is a delay in the tape mounts?

 

Answer:

Run a CAISERV and Check the Dynam T option STOP

Example

 STOP=(NO,30,10)

Dynam/T will only AVR the drives every 30 seconds because of the  STOP specification.

Even if the virtual tape system mounts a tape immediately it will take 30 seconds before Dynam/T will AVR the drive
