Issue/Introduction

 

- How does CA1 interpret the HSM expiration date parameter of 1999000?

 

Resolution

The HSM Expiration date with the format 1999000 is correctly interpreted by CA1 as a CATALOG retention (99000) 

But if the HSM is coded in the TMOEDM00 member to mark the HSM tapes under EDM control then CA1 will assign it PERMANENT expiration date.
