How do I resolve an error in my Datacom MUF startup:
DB00205E - MULTI-USER ERROR - 1125 MUF NOT AUTHORIZED
Component : Datacom/DB
Component : Datacom/AD
This error is produced when the STEPLIB/JOBLIB for the MUF contains a loadlib that is not APF-Authorized.
The 1125 error means that one of the loadlibs in your STEPLIB has not been APF authorized. As noted in the installation instructions, many MUF functions need to run in an authorized state, so the base and custom loadlibs need to be APF-authorized.
Once all the loadlibs in your STEPLIB have been added to the APF list, this error should go away.
The z/OS console command: D PROG,APF,ALL will list all of the authorized libraries. Check that the Datacom loadlibs are in this list, and that they are on the volume shown in the APFlist.
As always, please contact Broadcom support for Datacom if you have further questions.
