Issue:
R14.0 of MICS utilizes SAS Output Delivery System (ODS) graphics procedure to create graphical output in MICF without the need for the SAS/GRAPH product. The SAS ODS graphics procedures are available with SAS BASE (foundation) as of SAS Version 9.3.
Attempts to generate SAS ODS reports may fail with a CC=8 and the following errors found in the MICSLOG
ERROR: The Java proxy could not create a new locator
ERROR: Unable to attach current thread
Resolution:
In the JCL that is generated by MICF ensure that the CONFIG DD points to your SAS CONFIG dataset and that the following three members are referenced
CONFIG DD DSN=sasprefix.CONFIG(BATCH)
DSN=sasprefix.CONFIG(COMMON)
DSN=sasprefix.CONFIG(ENW0)
Additional Information:
Refer to the SAS ODS Graphical Output Section in the CA MICS 14.0 documentation located here
