Does View support mixed case passwords?

• Output Management View® for z/OS

Resolution

Yes, support for mixed case passwords is already in the product, no action is required.

If the RACF/ACF2/TSS security administrator activates the mixed case password feature, CA-View will allow mixed case passwords. If the user needs to enter an UPPER case password they will need to hold down the shift key. If the feature is not activated, CA-View will convert user entered passwords to uppercase.
