As part of our ongoing commitment to the security of CA Chorus Software Manager (CA CSM) we will be applying a patch update related to data encryption enhancements to our CA Support Online system. Our prior date to complete on October 3, 2016 was delayed and will be completed on October 22, 2016.
In order for CA CSM to maintain full functionality and be able to communicate with CA Support Online using the enhanced encryption after this patch update, CA CSM customers will need to ensure they are running the minimal Java Service Refresh and Fix Pack levels that are compatible with the patch update. Without updating JAVA to a compatible level, CA CSM will no longer be able to connect to CA Support online and download products or maintenance for products.
For CA CSM 6.0/6.1 users these are:
Java ReleaseService RefreshFix Pack
7SR9FP10(7.0.9.10)
7R1SR3FP10(7.1.3.10)
8SR3FP10(8.0.3.10)
For CA CSM 5.1 users, in addition to Java 7, there is also the option to upgrade the Service level of Java 6 to:
Java ReleaseService RefreshFix Pack
6R1SR8FP7(6.1.8.7)
6SR16FP7(6.0.16.7)
