Issue/Introduction

This article lists the option for customers to transition an existing VMware Cloud Director(VCD) environment to VMware Cloud Foundation(VCF) Automation.

Environment

• VMware Cloud Director 10.6.2
• VMware Cloud Foundation 9.1.x

Resolution

Migrations from VMware Cloud Director to VCF 9.1 can now be performed with VMware Cloud Director 10.6.2. VMware Cloud Director 10.6.2 also supports VCF 9.1.1 (from VCF 9.1.1 Support in the Release Notes). VMware Cloud Director 10.6.2 supports VCF 9.1.1 alongside vSphere 9.1.1 and NSX 9.1.1. For customers looking to transition to VCF Automation, upgrade your existing environment to VMware Cloud Director 10.6.2 to proceed further.
