Apple M5 equipped systems kernel panic with Symantec Endpoint Protection ( SEP ) 14.3 RU9

Cause

This is a known issue and addressed by Apple with OS update.

Resolution

Upgrading macOS resolves the issue at the OS kernel level without requiring SEP-side modifications.
Upgrade macOS to 26.6.2 or later to resolve this issue.
