Cannot add view to existing Xtraction Data Model using the Xtraction Data Model Editor.  Within the Xtraction Data Model Editor, right-clicking within the VIEW menu sub-tree, does not show any options.

Environment

Xtraction 14.x, 15.x, 2016.x, 2017.x, 2018.x, 2019.x, 2020.x and 2021.x

Cause

Require Enterprise Xtraction License

Resolution

An Enterprise Xtraction license is required to have the ability to add views or a data source to a Xtraction Data Model.

At the present time, the license that is supplied with CA Service Management by default is a limited license.  To obtain the ability to add views or data sources, you will need the Enterprise level license.

If you would like to purchase an enterprise Xtraction license, please engage with Ivanti.
