Issue/Introduction

After upgrading from VCF 9.0.1 to 9.1.0, an NSX Advanced Load Balancer (Avi) instance may disappear from the VCFA portal.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 9.x

Cause

Version mismatch during the staged VCF upgrade process where management components are upgraded to 9.1.0 but workload domain components remain on 9.0.1.

Resolution

  1. Complete the upgrade process for all components in the workload domain.
  2. Log in to the VCFA provider portal.
  3. Navigate to Administration > VCF Instances.
  4. Locate the target VCF Instance.
  5. Click the menu (⋮) and select Refresh VCF Instance.
  6.  You should be able to see the AVI Load Balancer under Administration > Connections > Avi Load Balancer after sometime.
