Issue/Introduction

Users of Automic Automation v26 may observe that changes to static VARA objects are not retained. After saving the object and refreshing the Automic Web Interface (AWI), the values revert to their original state. This behavior is caused by a defect and cleared browser cache does not resolve the issue.

Symptoms

• Static VARA objects revert to previous values after a save and refresh operation.
• Changes appear successful in the UI initially but do not persist.
• The issue persists regardless of browser cache status.

Automic Automation - AWI v 26.0

Cause

DE203625 - where the AWI fails to persist updates to static VARA objects under specific refresh conditions in version 26.

Resolution

Fixed in release 26.1 and higher. See KB for steps to download this release.
