Issue/Introduction

Question:

How to change the SC (suspend counter) from -1 to 0 on CA Workload Automation ESP Edition?

                                            

Environment

CA WA ESP EDITION 11.4 Z/OS

Answer: 

For the events with SC -1, you can:

1. Enter "E" to edit the event, and remove "SUSPEND(-1)";

2. Or enter "U" to Suspend against the event, then it should show 0.

This normally is caused by "Resume" command being issued 1 times more than needed. In other words, if the event is not in Suspend status, and Resume is issued, then the SC will be -1.
