How to Disable a Project Version in CA TDM Self-Service Catalog

Issue/Introduction

A project contains two versions (e.g., 1.0 and 2.0). The user wants to provision self-service catalogs created under version 2.0 to end users, but currently, both versions are displayed for testers on the User/User Group screen. There is no direct option to select or provision only one version.

Environment

TDM Version 5.0 or newer

Resolution

To hide version 1.0 and expose only version 2.0, follow these steps:

1. Select the Older Version: In the TDM Portal header, use the Project dropdown to select the project and set the version to 1.0.
2. Navigate to Self-Service Flows: Go to the Self Service Flows page.
3. Disable Version 1.0 Items: For each flow listed, open it, clear the "Show in Self Service Catalog" checkbox, and save. Confirm that the Exposed column now shows "No" for those rows.
4. Verify Version 2.0 Items: Switch the header dropdown to Version 2.0, navigate back to the Self Service Flows page, and confirm that each flow has "Show in Self Service Catalog" checked (Exposed = Yes).

Result Since testers are provisioned at the project level (via the Tester group), they will still see the project, but the catalog itself will only surface the flows and forms where the "Show in Self Service Catalog" flag is enabled. By disabling the flags for version 1.0, the catalog will effectively only display items from version 2.0.
