Network Flow Analysis Network Observability

Issue/Introduction

We strongly discourage removing Network Flow Analysis (NFA) as a data source unless absolutely necessary. However if needed, please be aware that in NetOps version 25.4.11, a known issue prevents you from re-adding NFA to the NetOps Portal once it has been removed.

 

Environment

NetOps Portal 25.4.11

NetOps NFA 25.4.11

 

Resolution

  1. Delete NFA data source from CAPC
  2. Run "http://localhost/reporterdatasource/productsyncws.asmx?op=UnregisterPerformanceCenter" on the NFA console. and click on "Invoke" button
  3. Wait 5-10 seconds
  4. Re-add NFA; the sync succeeds.

This will be resolved for NetOps 25.4.12.
