'Activate from Repository' button is not visible for regulatory benchmarks on the Compliance page in VMware Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to VMware Aria Operations 8.18.6, the 'Activate from Repository' buttons located at the bottom of the Regulatory benchmark tiles on the Compliance page are not visible due to a UI rendering issue. Although the button text is missing, clicking directly on the blank space at the bottom-left of the tile loads the benchmark and allows you to activate it.

Environment

VMware Aria Operations 8.18.6 or earlier

Cause

This is a known issue in VMware Aria Operations 8.18.6 codebase where the UI fails to render the button text on the Regulatory benchmark tiles.

Resolution

This issue is already fixed in VMware Aria Operations 8.18.7 and higher. Upgrade VMware Aria Operations to version 8.18.7 or later.

Workaround

If you cannot perform an immediate upgrade, use one of the following methods as a workaround:

1. Keyboard Navigation (Recommended): Press the Tab key to navigate through the Regulatory benchmark tile until focus lands on the hidden button, then press Enter or Space to activate it.

2. Mouse Click: Click directly on the blank space at the bottom-left of the tile where the 'Activate from Repository' button text normally appears.
