Issue/Introduction

Test recovery failed with "Cannot create a test bubble image for group 'GID-xxx-xxx-xxx' on vSphere Replication Server 'xxxxx'. The target path ######/vrTestImage' already exists"

Environment

VMware Live Recovery 9.0.5

Resolution

1. Remove the affected VM from replication, ensuring that you select the option to retain the existing seed disks.
2. Re-configure the replication for the VM, selecting the existing seed disks on the target datastore.
3.  Allow the initial synchronization to complete. This process reconstructs the necessary metadata and directory structures on the target side.
4. Trigger a new Test Recovery to verify that the issue is resolved.
