Issue/Introduction

This article clarifies the supported architecture for integrating Operational Reporting with Spectrum Report Manager (SRM).

Installing Operational Reports while trying to figure out how to integrate it with 2 SRM servers from two different Spectrum DSS environments.

Does the NetOps Operational Reports tool support integration with more than one Spectrum environment and it's SRM DB?

Environment

All DX NetOps Spectrum versions

Cause

Operational Reporting is architected to integrate with exactly one Spectrum environment and its corresponding SRM database.

Resolution

Operational Reporting does not support integration with multiple Spectrum environments or multiple SRM databases concurrently.

1. Review the current environment architecture.
2. If multiple Spectrum environments are in use, deploy one Operational Reporting instance for each SRM database instance.
3. Configure each Operational Reporting instance to communicate exclusively with its designated SRM database.
