Resolution

Start Order Sequence

When starting the DevTest Server, you must follow this sequence to ensure all components initialize correctly:

  1. Start Identity and Access Manager (IAM).
  2. Start the Enterprise Dashboard Server.
  3. Start each Registry.
  4. Start the DevTest Portal.
  5. Start the following components in any order:
    • Broker
    • Coordinator server
    • Simulator server (associated with each coordinator)
    • Virtual Service Environment (VSE)
  6. Start DevTest Workstation (if used on the DevTest Server).
  7. Start Virtual Service Catalog (if used, this is a separate optional product)

Note: To shut down server components, follow this sequence in reverse order.
