Issue/Introduction

Configure the AWS S3 connection object within the Automic Automation Engine to support External ID authentication. This article outlines the necessary steps to implement file watcher processes that require an External ID for secure access to AWS S3 buckets. This functionality is intended for users who must authenticate using specific AWS roles and require additional security parameters beyond standard keys.

This is a known product limitation and being tracked under DE208922.

Resolution

The enhancement request has been accepted, but we do not yet have an ETA for its release.
