ESX Host Client Warning Persists With SuppressShellWarning

Issue/Introduction

After setting UserVars.SuppressShellWarning to 1, the shell warning continues to appear in the ESX Host Client. The warning banner remains visible on the Host Summary page despite setting the parameter correctly.

Environment

VMware ESX 9.1.0

Resolution

There is no workaround. Please ignore the warning banner.

 

Broadcom Engineering is aware of the issue and is currently working on a fix.
