Issue/Introduction

Newly deployed License Server never appears in the VCF Ops UI

 

Environment

VCF Operations 9.1
VCF License Server

Cause

The VCF Operations instance and the License Server lack the necessary DNS A and PTR records configured in the environment, which prevents successful service propagation and discovery between the appliances.

Resolution

1. Create A and PTR records in DNS for the License Server.
2. Deploy a new License Server instance.
