Issue/Introduction

  • After upgrading to VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.1, the Single Sign-On (SSO) may appear to be working; however, the configuration is missing under the Identity and Access section in the VCF Operations UI.

  • The interface only presents an option for "New Configuration".

  • Connecting to VCF Operations via SSH and navigating to /storage/log/vcops/log/adapters/ManagementAdapter reveals 2 log files named ManagementAdapter_##.log.

  • However, in VCF Operations UI, under Administration -> Integrations -> Accounts, only 1 management adapter for the Primary VCF Instance exists.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 9.1

Cause

This issue occurs due multiple management adapter entries existing in the database, preventing the UI from correctly loading the existing SSO configuration.
