Issue/Introduction

Apache ActiveMQ logging stops writing to the activemq.log file.

This issue affects both the Data Aggregator (DA) and Data Collector (DC).

Environment

This issue affects Performance Management 25.4.4 to 25.4.8 

Cause

This issue was introduced in Performance Management 25.4.4 following the implementation of the ActiveMQ wrapper code.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in Performance Management version 25.4.9 (Defect DE204792).
In this version, the wrapper now includes the log4j libraries required to successfully log ActiveMQ messages to the activemq.log file.

Additional Information

In affected versions, you can get some information from the activemq.out file in the same log folder:

<DEFAULT> /opt/IMDataCollector/broker/apache-activemq/data
