Issue/Introduction

Question:

I am doing a CA Datacom/AD upgrade to 15.0 using the ACTIVE Upgrade option via job member AXACTUPG.

When executing ACT.INSTJCL(AXACTUPG), during Step2a, assembling DBSIDPR, do you add the current CXX name (I am using (AD14CXX))

or do you supply a new name for the R15 CXX?

Answer:

As being said in the job flower box you need to use the parameters you had in 14.0.

However the DBSYSID macro will be ASM/LINKed with the 15.0 Libraries.
