Issue/Introduction

The Automation Engine audit logs or user audit reports may display an "message not found" indicator (e.g., "909816? ") instead of a descriptive privilege caption. This behavior affects message IDs 909816, 909944, and 909945 in the Multi-Language Service (MLS) catalog.

Symptom: 

Audit messages appearing as numeric IDs with suffix "? "

Environment

• Product: Automation Engine
• Version: 26.0.0, 24.4.5

Cause

An architectural divergence occurred between the Automic Web Interface (AWI) localization property bundles and the legacy Multi-Language Service (MLS) catalog used by the Automation Engine server processes. While the captions were present in the UI, they were missing from the legacy MLS catalog.

Resolution

This defect is tracked as DE210064.

1. The missing messages have been authored in the MLS database.
2. The fix is included in release 26.1 and 24.4.6 and higher.

Additional Information

Public Title: Audit log refers to Database maintenance privilege with a number code instead of human-readable privilege title

Public Description: A problem has been fixed where the user audit log writes Privilege: '909816?' instead of Privilege: 'Database maintenance'.

The issue had no functional impact and only affected readability of the audit log. Elsewhere in the UI (such as on the User Privileges screen), the privilege title was displayed correctly.
