Error "No source mapping records found" when installing VCF Operations for Logs

Issue/Introduction

When installing VCF Operations for Logs, the Precheck failed on Data Validation stage with Error:

"No source mapping records found"

Environment

VCF Operations 9.0.x

VCF Operations for Logs 9.0.x

Cause

The data validation precheck failure is caused by the following factors:

The Online Depot has not been configured 

The installation binaries for VCF Operations for Logs have not been downloaded from the depot.

Resolution

Configure Online Depot and Download Binaries

1. Navigate to Fleet Management > Lifecycle.
2. Click VCF Instances and select the name of your VCF instance.
3. Click Depot Settings.
4. Click Authenticate to set up the online depot.
5. Click the Binary Management tab to view available binaries once the online depot is configured.
6. Select the Install Binaries tab, click VCF Operations for Logs, and select the option to initiate the binary download.
7. Return to the Lifecycle Task and retry the precheck after the download completes.
