In CA Chorus Software Manager the NEW button under remote credentials is disabled. How do I enable it?

Issue/Introduction

Question:

In CA Chorus Software Manager I would like to store Remote Credentials for later use during deployment.

For any reason the NEW button at /Settings/User Settings/Remote Credentials is greyed out.

How could I enable this?

Answer: 

Please look up under /Settings/System Settings/Software Deployment/ what is set there for:

Remote Credentials Administration

Always Prompt to Set Up Remote Credentials:

Prompt to Set Up Only Missing Remote Credentials:

Allow Saving Remote Credentials in the Database:

 

Especially the last one is needed to be ticked on to have the NEW button available.

 

If you need to change a parameter, don't forget to press the APPLY button.
