Report Designer Properties panel is incorrectly positioned for Fixed Layout reports

Issue/Introduction

When a widget is selected in a Fixed Layout report, the Properties panel opens on the left side and overlaps the report canvas. At the same time, Clarity has blank space on the right side as though the Properties panel were displayed there. This substantially reduces the usable design area. This only happens with Fixed layout and not Responsive Layout

Environment

Clarity 16.4.2

Cause

A stale draft definition occurred due to switching Layout Formats (e.g., Responsive to Fixed) back and forth without saving a clean layout. The widget encountered a valid but unusual state where table widgets were stacked at x0/y0, rendering the Properties panel incorrectly.

Resolution

•  Ensure you save the report layout after switching between Responsive and Fixed Layout formats to prevent draft inconsistencies
• No further action is required. The report canvas and Properties panel should render correctly in all Layout Formats.
