Issue/Introduction

DX NetOps subscribers are entitled to AppNeta Freemium instances (Active Experience) based on their specific product SKU. This article provides the registration process to obtain management portal access, license entitlements, and deployment binaries.

Environment

Product: DX NetOps Observability, DX NetOps Classic, DX NetOps Plus
    •    Eligible SKUs: DXNOPS990, DXNOP2990, DXNOPA990, DXNOPO990, NETOPS990
    •    Entitlement: 1 to 3 AppNeta Universal Licenses (AUL) depending on the agreement.

Resolution

 To enable AppNeta services and receive deployment files, complete the following steps:

1. Access the Network Observability Active Experience registration page or from the Active Experience page in Portal:

   Portal -> Admin -> Monitored Items -> Active Experience

2. Complete the request form using the account details associated with your Broadcom entitlement.
3. Once the request is processed, check your email for credentials to the AppNeta management portal (https://signon.pm.appneta.com).
4. Log into the portal to download Monitoring Point binaries:
• Navigate to Monitoring Point Settings > Monitoring Points.
• Select Add Monitoring Point and choose the required platform type (Hardware, Virtual, or Cloud) to download the images.
