Issue/Introduction

This article provides instructions for customizing the WCC WebUI banner colors and logos to help users distinguish between different environments (e.g., Production vs. Development).
The method varies depending on the version of WCC installed.

Environment

• Autosys Workload Automation (WCC) 12.x
• Autosys Workload Automation (WCC) 24.0
• Autosys Workload Automation (WCC) 24.1 and higher

Cause

Standard Autosys / WCC installers do not include a post-installation function to automate environment-specific branding.

Resolution

For WCC 24.1 and Higher

Colorization has been simplified and is now a native feature.

1. Log in to the WCC WebUI.
2. Navigate to the Configuration tab.
3. Select Common from the drop-down menu.
4. Modify the color settings as desired.

For WCC 24.0

1. Navigate to the $CA_WCC_INSTALL_LOCATION/tomcat/webapps/webui directory.
2. Backup the index.html file.
3. Add a link to a custom.css file in the index.html file.
4. Create a custom.css file in the webui/static/css directory.
5. Define the background color using: header { background-color: ##### !important; }
6. Save changes and clear browser cache.

For WCC 12.x

1. Navigate to $CA_WCC_INSTALL_LOCATION/tomcat/webapps/wcc/launcher/ca/css.
2. Backup and edit ca-all.css.
3. Locate the .ca-header section.
4. Update the background-color hexadecimal value (e.g., #e60000 for red).
5. Save the file and clear browser cache.
