Attempt to migrate processes template fails in CU6

Issue/Introduction

MCS processes template migration issue.

Upgrade of processes_mcs_template to the template e.g., 5.01 previously causing device-level QOS metrics to be enabled that were unwanted (default QOS settings).

processes 5.07 is the current probe version. 5.01 is the latest template as of 7/20/2026. Yet as of mon_config_service hotfix 23.4.6.4 the issue with template migration persists.

Environment

• DX UIM 23.4 CU6

Cause

• mon_config_service probe required update

Resolution

• mon_config_service v23.4.6.5 resolved the migration issue after two attempts or some wait time/delay
