Issue/Introduction

The following issue may occur while replication is in progress for a virtual machine being replicated using vSphere Replication.
・No response from the virtual machine
・Virtual machine does not accept power-on/power-off operations
・vMotion cannot be performed

Cause

This is caused by the virtual machine unexpectedly waiting for a replication completion notification, resulting in no CPU resources being allocated to other processing tasks.

Resolution

This issue has been fixed in ESX 9.1.

A fix is ​​planned for ESXi 8.0U3 and 9.0.
