Activate a Supervisor - IP range overlaps with same IP range

Issue/Introduction

When using the Activate a Supervisor creation wizard, the Management network screen shows the below error referencing the same IP range:

IP range (Address: <IP address>); Count 5) overlaps with IP range (Address: <IP address>); Count 5) in cluster domain c##:<UUID>

Environment

vSphere Supervisor 9.x

Cause

The Supervisor cluster creation wizard has detected that the noted five sequential IPs are already in use.

If these IPs are not actually in use, the wizard has cached the IPs in your web browser cache.

Resolution

1. Verify that the noted IP range is not in use in the network.
   
   
2. Confirm that the noted Supervisor cluster domain UUID is not present in the vCenter by dcli:
   

   dcli com vmware vcenter namespacemanagement software clusters list

3. Clear your web browser cache or use a private/incognito window to retry the Activate a Supervisor wizard.
