Application cell VAMI webpage not loading

Issue/Introduction

• VAMI (https://<cell-fqdn/ip>:5480) is not accessible after deployment of Application cell.
• The webpage fails to load and shows the below if accessing the VAMI via Google Chrome:

This site can't be reached

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.1.2

Cause

This issue occurs due to the network configuration of the cell. The eth1 address is not specified during the cell deployment.

Resolution

Unregister the failed cell(s) with steps mentioned below:

1. Login to the Service Provider Admin Portal.
2. From the primary left navigation panel, select Resources, and from the page top navigation bar, select Cloud Resources.
3. In the secondary left navigation panel, click Cloud Cells.
   Select an inactive cell and click Unregister.

Deploy a fresh cell with the correct network configuration. i.e. eth0 and eth1 address as described in Start Your VMware Cloud Director Appliance Deployment.
